Data

The OSCOPE buoy at station PAPA was deployed in early October 1999 and began transmitting data on October 11th 1999.  On November 19th 1999, the anchor chain failed and sent the mooring adrift in a ENE direction.   Some of the top side instruments continued to transmit data, including the surface Nitrate analyzer and the pCO2 instrument (the later ending transmissions on 12/7/99).   The Coast Guard recovered the mooring of the coast of Alaska in early January 2000.
