viewed in a text editor. The metadata follow the Federal Geographic Data
Committee's standard ( http://www.fgdc.gov/

Ocean Data
View
Users may find Ocean Data View helpful in analyzing or viewing the

netCDF
Many files in the MUSE data set are in the netCDF file format. For
more information, please go to http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/netcdf/.
Dr. Charles Denham from the USGS has developed a MATLAB toolbox for netCDF
